Keynote Spotlight: Associate Professor Karol Leluk on Sustainable Materials and Environmental Technologies

We’re honored to welcome Associate Professor Karol Leluk as our keynote speaker for the Earth panel at this year’s conference!

Karol Leluk dedicated his scientific career to bio-related materials. Starting from research during his Master and Doctoral Thesis carried on clay minerals as a main component, designed to develop shielding properties for electro compatible applications, to polymer composites based on sustainable plastics as a researcher.

He has been involved in several R&D projects resulting in applicable products, based on recycled thermoplastic polymer composites or their sustainable relatives. Resulting from his primary interest in application of naturally abundant materials into the market, he spread his focus into sustainable materials, processes and their economical aspect in terms of environment-related technologies. Those are developed in the Faculty of Environmental Engineering (Wydział Inżynierii Środowiska Politechniki Wrocławskiej) where he holds a Vice Dean for research and
